Goodness gracious, Czech Republic Black metal quartet ██████ really have taken a few steps into growth. After an interesting hardcore-inspired debut, the group have now gone on to follow up with a split with Michigan’s OLD SOUL.
The ██████ side of the split, with this time noticeably more emotive vocals, has it’s nuanced compositional structure really shine through. It’s going to be interesting to see what more comes from these guys in the near future, as hearing this brings back a lot of the imagery from Bosse-De-Nage’s self titled from a while back.
